Instituto Pedro Nunes (IPN) aims to promote innovation and technology transfer, establishing the interface between the scientific and technological environment and the production sector. Active and Healthy Ageing is one of the main focus of IPN’s Automation Lab, with particular interest for topics as Health Prevention, Personalized Medicine, Rehabilitation and Active Assisted Living. Also, IPN is co-founder of Ageing@Coimbra, reference site of the EIP-AHA, and is associated partner of EIT Health.

The Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra (CHUC) is the most prominent Portuguese hospital having comprehensive research, teaching, and patient-centered care approach. Our mission is to deliver high-quality clinical care in a context of pre and postgraduate training with a strong focus on research, scientific knowledge, and innovation.

Autonom’Lab is a public living lab created in 2010. It provides a mission of general interest to evaluate and develop innovations that can promote aging well, whether in terms of health or autonomy. The living lab gathers stakeholders from research and education field, health, social and medico-social sectors, and economic development as well as users, professionals and regional public authorities in order to foster and develop innovations that are relevant to improve quality of life of our elderlies.

In charge of Knowledges Transfer
The Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia (Agència de Qualitat i Avaluació Sanitàries de Catalunya in Catalan), AQuAS, is a public entity of the Catalan Ministry of health with more than 20 years of history. Its mission is to generate relevant knowledge to contribute to the improvement of the quality, safety and sustainability of the healthcare system, with the main goal of supporting the decision making process of the citizens, professionals, managers and policy makers.

In charge of the community
INTRAS is a non-profit organization dedicated to provide health and social-health care in mental health and ageing, as well as to carry out research and innovation projects in these domains. INTRAS manages a network of 11 centers, 4 community support teams and 60 community apartments in 8 provinces in Spain, involving over 200 professionals and serving yearly more than 1.000 users. The Junta of Castile and León (Spanish: Junta de Castilla y León; JCyL) is the governing and administrative body of the Spanish autonomous community of Castile and León and serves as the executive branch and regulatory authority.^[1] It comprises the President of the Junta, the vice-presidents and the ministers (consejeros). The function of the Junta is to govern and administer the autonomous community.
